On and Off the Charts!

With all the fun stuff going on with Kyler, Konner and Kassidy needed a little time here too, so here is their update.

Last week we went to their 15 (and a half) month check-up. Both are doing great, nice and healthy, just a bit on the small side. No news to us, they have always been teeny and will probably be that way for a while. Kassidy weighed in at 19 pounds 2 ounces and Konner at 18 pounds 9 ounces. (Eventually we will get to turn those car seats around - maybe by Christmas!) Konner is a shade taller than Kassidy though - he's 30 inches, she's 29.5 inches. We are still not on the percentile chart for Konner's weight and we're in the low 10% or so for the other stats for both kids, but no one is worried since both are growing at a steady pace. They also got shots, always fun, and had tons of fun playing with the crinkly paper they put on the exam table.

If you didn't know, we are teaching the kids sign language like we did with Kyler. They are picking it up like sponges right now! It is truly amazing how many things they can tell me and ask for, especially Kassidy. She knows at least 30 different signs. Just some of them are - please, thank you, more, cookie, banana, hot dog, dog, cat, baby, cow, horse, daddy, mommy, granddaddy, grammy / gramma, sleep, cracker, grapes, bath, book, read, bear, fish...and that's just what I can recall right now! She has been really picking them up during the last two weeks. Konner has just started doing more of them the past few days, and I know he'll know just as many as she does in no time.
On a side note, I am totally loving that Kassidy's hair is getting so long! I love the bows and different ways to do her hair. I can now do a pony tail, way cute half up-half down, "Boo" (from Monster's Inc.) pig tails, and just yesterday Grammy was able to do two little french braids.
Here's a couple of pics from last Sunday to enjoy.
