Twice the OC Fair Fun

Since we couldn't figure out how to get all our best friends together at one time, the Fox family decided to make it out to the fair twice this year. The first time was on opening day. We braved a long wait, but were able to get parking for free and entrance into the fair for free too! Crystal and Malino were with us as we checked out all the animals, did lots of shopping and browsing from vendors, and ate some yummy treats. Jason and my dad later joined us for dinner, dessert (of course), some browsing through the photography gallery and the kids went on some rides. On our second trip we did something different by riding a direct bus there and back for super cheap and got in for only two bucks. We met Uncle Jeremy and Juliette plus the Fritz / Holtkamp/Scheid clan for some more fun. The kids checked out the animals again and played in the kid zone. We got to catch up and remind ourselves how much we missed everyone. Dinner was had, we caught the pig races (always a fun event) and the kids went on some rides too. Kyler got three free rides each time we went by doing an easy book report (nice for him and us).Both times we went with good friends, ate good (read tasty, not healthy!) food and had a good time. What more could you ask for!!
