Time for a Vacation!!

The day after our 4th of July celebration we were off to the airport for a much needed vacation. We were the lucky beneficiaries of my parent's time share points (yet again - yeah, we are spoiled) and this year's destination was Niagara Falls and Toronto, Canada. Passports in hand, cute new pack-packs (what Konner calls them) filled with fun goodies and new, fantastic luggage all packed - it was off to the Old Stone Inn at The Falls. (Yep, The Falls, not Niagara Falls. It's good to get the lingo of the locals down!) After a very interesting car rental adventure (we got a GREAT deal, but it was a little sub-standard service), some shady directions where the navigator - I admit, it was me - had the driver take the wrong freeway, finally getting the GPS set-up (which then somehow was leading us to Texas), and a plea for directions at a gas station, we were headed in the right direction and arrived late at night. It was straight to bed for us, dreaming of the further adventures our vacation would have in store for us for the next day!
