Mic Check, 1, 2, 3
So over the past week the following items have been used as a microphone by Kassidy during her little singing perfprmances: a brush, lots of combs, a spoon, a fork, a baster, and various pencils. A diva already - I thought that didn't start until they were at least in elementary school. Boy am I in trouble.

A Beary Good Time
Last Monday on my day off, we wanted to do something fun. We decided to head to Downtown Disney (which Kyler thinks is kinda like Disneyland because we haven't been there yet!) and go to Build-a-Bear. It's always an adventure there and to tell the truth I am exhausted when we are done. We brought along our friend Malino, his mom Crystal and their little friend Vinny. We had a great time and are now the proud owners of a Darth Vadar bear, a cat named Lila, and a puppy dog in an Olympic hoodie named Apollo. The kids had a great time and it was a lovely way to spend our last day off until Spring Break.

Family Love
For Valentine's Day we spent it with our extended family visiting from Georgia and having lunch at Great-Grandmother's. We gave out our valentine's to our family and church family. We ate yummy lunch and delicious cupcakes for dessert. We spent part of the gorgeous afternoon at the park. It was a nice day to spend with the ones we love most. Hope your Valentine's Day was just as sweet.

Game Day!
For Christmas, my mom and I got the guys (and the rest of us too) a ticket package to 3 Kings games. It included a game card for the ESPN Zone. So for our last game we decided to go early and try our hand at some video games there. Everyone got in on the action, even the babies! We had a fun time. Then it was off to the Kings game - we won!! It was a fun night and I even got the group pciture I wanted (despite everyone's protesting). Enjoy the pics.

Valentine, You're a Blast!
Kyler's preschool class is having a Valentine's Day "party" this Thursday, so it was our job to come up with 23 valentines. Of course, being "that" mom, I had to think of something not cheesey and super cute. Kyler was sooo way super excited to help, and he actually did lend a (little) helping hand. We shopped together and even crafted toghether. It was all he could talk about as soon as I mentioned it to him. So here is what we created.
We went from this:

Feelin' the Love
So I get home from tutoring the other day and Kyler excitedly tells me he made something for me in preschool that day. He presents me with a cute pink heart on a stick. I loved it.
Then he tells me he made something else, but it is not for me. Oh yeah, I say. He says it's for his girlfriend and promptly presents a larger, glitter outlined heart on a stick.Nice to know where I stand.

Time for a Song
A few weekends ago I figured out that Kassidy was singing one of the songs we do in Bible class. Konner was quick to join in. I managed to finally get them recorded. (Pardon my singing - someone had to lead the song.) Check out how Kassidy also signs "no" at the right time during the song.
Kyler was not going to let the babies have all the fun, so he had to sing a little song too. Of course he learned it from preschool. Notice at the end that everybody does their "chair." Close enough, right? I have been told that his favorite song to sing in preschool is "Twinkle, Twinkle." But I guess not today.

Itty Bitty Soccer
A new season, a new sport.
Last Friday Kyler began a five week city class on soccer. They practiced kicking, doing a "clamp" stop and dribbling. They ran around a lot and learned the most important rule - you can't use your hands. Here's a sneak peek at his "skills."
